Meet Miss Lawrence
Welcome! I am so excited to be a third grade teacher at Patsy Sommer Elementary. This is going to be a wonderful year full of fun and learning.
I am a proud Aggie! I graduated from Texas A&M University with my bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Sciences - Early Childhood-6th Grade Education. I also received my Master's in Education - Curriculum & Instruction from A&M this summer.
I love to read! I remember loving reading when I was a third grader. I have read many books and I can't wait to share my love of reading with students this year. I love animals! It is hard for me to choose a favorite animal, but sea turtles are my favorite. Since I can't have a sea turtle for a pet, I have a cat named Doc instead.
I believe that learning is a life-long adventure! I want to encourage my students to become life-long learners who are constantly seeking knowledge through experiences and learning opportunities. In my class, students will learn how to be compassionate, creative, and collaborative leaders.
